Donna Hendricks Marx, LMHC
Donna Hendricks-Marx is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 35 years of experience as a psychotherapist. Most of that time has been spent in private practice with an emphasis on adult individual and couple therapy. Her style is direct and goal-oriented while providing a nonjudgmental place for change and healing.
She has often worked as an expert in the field of trauma and brings a skill set unique to those areas including Instinctual Trauma Response and EMDR. She also utilizes meditation and hypnotherapy to assist in developing tools to use for anxiety and depression as well as healing the inner child and understanding internal family systems. She is excited to be expanding her practice from South Florida to the Tampa area. It is with a particular sense of pride and excitement that she will be joined by her son and daughter in the development of their Authentic Therapy Center. The goal is to supply a wide range of therapeutic modalities in a warm and safe environment.

Alexis Marx, LMSW
Alexis is a licensed clinical social worker working in the state of Florida. She received her Master's degree in Social Work from Florida International University. Alexis has worked in a wide range of settings that include an inpatient hospital, a partial hospitalization program, ABA, and outpatient mental health services. Alexis is experienced working with adolescents and adults that are experiencing anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Her experience includes family counseling and four years of working with Autistic children including their families with a focus on behavioral therapy.
Alexis believes that therapy is a time in which to not only address a client's challenges but to assist them in identifying their abilities and strengths. She believes that taking the first steps towards improving one's well-being takes a level of courage and it is her responsibility to assist the client through compassion and listening, in reaching their goal of changing their unwanted behaviors. With a level of compassion and support, Alexis provides an environment and space that allows a client to achieve their most fulfilling life.
Justin Marx, LMHC
Justin is a registered mental health counseling intern working in the state of Florida. He received her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University. Justin began his training in substance abuse and trauma survivors' treatment centers before moving into private practice.
Justin believes in the importance of finding our best life. This is not just adaptive to life but finding the life that fits us, who we are, and what we want. Too often, people are conflicted within themselves, setting goals and then self sabotaging them. Only by being in touch with all of who we are, the good and the bad, can we move forward and be at peace with who we are.
